Mukhtar Masood (Urdu: مختار مسعود) is a Pakistani Urdu writer and bureaucrat.A graduate from Sir Syed's Muslim University Aligarh, he migrated to Pakistan after independence and was among the three candidates who succeeded in the civil service competitive exam held in January 1949.
