Video: Uconn Student Sorry For Mac

The University of Connecticut student who was arrested after he drunkenly berated a food service worker at a campus dining hall has released an apology video. Luke Gatti of Bayville, New York was filmed as he called canteen manager Dave Robinson a 'f. tool' and shoved him because he refused to serve the intoxicated 19-year-old bacon-jalapeno mac and cheese, instead asking that he leave the establishment.

Gatti says in his video that he is 'ashamed' of his behavior, and views the incident as a 'wakeup call.' Scroll down for video. 'I want to start by apologizing to all the staff involved in my incident, especially the manager,' Gatti says in the beginning of the video. 'He was just doing his job. He gave me so many chances to walk away.

And I didn't listen to him. No one deserves to be treated that way, like ever.'

He then added of watching the video of the incident; 'I couldn't even believe it was me in it. I was watching it and thinking, 'Oh my God. What the hell's wrong with me.' This is not what I'm all about. I don't treat people this way. 'I am ashamed, I really am ashamed of myself.' Most importantly however, Gatti says; 'This was seriously a wakeup call.'

Gatti has not officially been expelled from the university yet. University officials are legally barred from commenting on Gatti's status at the school, but according to the school's student handbook, the teen will have an administrative hearing and a judicial board will have a final say on his punishment.

'Generally speaking, any UConn student found to have violated the provisions of the Student Code may face penalties imposed by the Division of Student Affairs that range from probation to expulsion,' Stephanie Reitz, a spokesman for the University of Connecticut, told DailyMail.com. In some serious cases, students are told to vacate campus while that decision is being made.

While he may be leaving campus for now, Gatti will have to travel back up to Connecticut on October 13 for a hearing related to the criminal charges against him. If kicked out of school, it will be the second time Gatti has left a university in as many years. Gatti was a student at the University of Massachusetts - Amhearst last year but transferred to UConn after twice getting arrested at his old school. The first incident involved calling a police officer a 'f. n.'

and the other arrest for allegedly injuring a police officer's arm.

Luke Gatti, a University of Connecticut student and current poster boy of self entitled frat behavior has been expelled following his arrest over an incident involving the drunken studentover a bacon-jalapeno mac and cheese gone wrong. In the video which soon went viral (naturally) an unhinged Gatti is seen incessantly demanding that an on campus cafeteria manager serve him his meal before shoving the worker when he didn’t get his way. Gatti, who is from Bayville, L.I., now faces charges that include breach of peace and criminal trespass. He was seen packing up and leaving the campus Tuesday following a report from saying that the ingrate had been expelled. Whilst the school declined to make any comments, the reported Wednesday evening our collective ray of sunshine was officially still enrolled at UConn as the student may have to go through a disciplinary process. A report via cited a number of student tweets reporting Gatti’s earlier today, see below.

But practice does make perfection. According to a report via the, our collective sweetness found himself getting involved in another spectacle whilst enrolled at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass the year before. Once again the youth’s big mouth and belligerence ( future master of the world never mind) led to Gatti being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct over Labor Day 2014 as cops descended to shut down a party gone wild. Refusing to leave, Gatti yelled ‘ f— you’ and the N-word at Detective Richard MacLean, who is white. But it gets better. Gatti was busted a second time that September at another out-of-control party and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, reported. John Payne at Eastern Hampshire District Court at the time: ‘ I’m a little concerned you’re going to pull a trifecta before the month is over,’ Indeed and how ‘We’re going to miss you Luke.’ Image via Barstoolsports as Luke made his exit from UConn campus.
